    Today 25th June (Monday) 2024 at morning a meeting was held. That meeting was held at Ministry of Health. In that meeting “Medical Admission Test Notice 2024-25 in Bangladesh” related decision is taking by the authority. According to the associated source, now Health Minister Mohammad Nasim is not present here. When he arrived in Bangladesh, then final decision will be taken.

    Entry tests for admission in MBBS and BDS courses for 2024-25 academic sessions will be held in coming September, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said today.

    “There’s no chance of question paper leak. Besides, the exam papers will be evaluated through computerized system. So, there’s no chance of irregularities in the admission process,” Nasim said.

    Last year, As many as 82,788 admission seekers appeared at the test against 3,318 seats in 31 public medical colleges. The test was held from 10:00am to 11:00 am at 20 centres across the country, including capital Dhaka, while five marks will be curtailed for second time admission seekers.

    Medical College Admission Test Fee is determined at BDT. 1000/- like before. Last year the fee of Medical & Dental College Admission Test was same. Time duration of Medical & Dental College Admission Test will be 1 hour. 100 marks are determined for the admission test. Admission test will be held by MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) method & written. 100 MCQ will in the exam paper. Involved applicants will have to fill up all MCQ without any mistake. Otherwise they will not be allowed for the admission. This year also written pass mark will determined 40.

    • You must have 12 years of schooling, and your grades must have to be matched (Equivalency) with the Bangladeshi counterpart- SSC (Secondary School Certificate) & HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate).
    • Your eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS course:
      • Must have passed qualifying examinations (HSC/’A’ level) or equivalent examination.
      • SSC/’O’ level or equivalent examination passed not before 2021.
      • O-level (Equivalent to SSC) certificate: Minimum 5 subjects.
      • HSC/’A’ level or equivalent examination passed not before 2023.
      • A-level (Equivalent to HSC) Certificate: Must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
      • Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent and HSC/’A’ level or equivalent examination: 9.00 (Nine).
      • Minimum GPA in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent and in HSC/’A’ level or equivalent examination: 3.5 (three & half).
      • For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent exam, only top 5 subjects are considered for calculation of GPA. Therefore, GPA in ‘O’ level = (total marks obtained in top five subjects)/5.
      • For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in HSC/’A’ level or equivalent exam, only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) are considered for calculation of GPA. Qualifying Grade in each subject individually is “C’. Therefore, GPA in ‘A’ level = (total marks obtained in three subjects)/3.
      •  Minimum GPA in Biology: 3.5 (three & a half).
